We invite you to join our Youth Empowerment Session at the Digital Rights & Inclusion Forum in Ivory Coast. In this Session we speak about digital children’s rights based on the UN General Comment 25. We will share experiences on digital rights and youth empowerment based on 10 issues:

EVERYBODY: What problems can we solve to give all children and young people meaningful access to the digital world?

CHANCES: What should we do to ensure that children and young people are given sufficient digital opportunities?

FAIR: How do we ensure that the personal interests of children and young people are prioritized in their digital environment?

OPINION: How can we ensure that all children and young people can always express their opinions in a safe way?

FREEDOM: How do we give children and young people the freedom to think, believe and do what they want in their digital lives?

ACTIVE: How do we stimulate that children and young people can work on their digital skills?

HEALTHY: What can we do to improve the health and wellbeing of all children and young people in their digital lives?

PRIVACY: How do we ensure that all children and young people always have sufficient privacy online?

SAFE: How can we protect all children and young people in a safe digital environment?

RULES: How do we work on digital rights for children and young people and ensure that everyone is aware of their rights?

We will launch the Digital Child Rights Monitor about the status of digital children’s rights of African countries. This global Report is based on the Concluding Observations of the UN Child Rights Committee.​
